You Are
Not Alone

Through educational programming, research, and advocacy, the JCK Foundation promotes mental wellness in schools, businesses and communities by opening up conversations, sharing hopeful stories of mental health resilience, and connecting people to mental health resources.

OUR MISSION

Our Programs

Through our program, we aim to cultivate an environment where students feel valued, accepted, and motivated to make a positive impact on their own wellness and that of their peers. We also work hand-in-hand with each school to connect students to school-specific mental wellness resources, and to provide students with tools and strategies to have conversations with their peers about mental health. We also conduct parent and faculty workshops to give the most holistic approach to helping students.

  • Working inside of schools to improve mental wellness and resilience amongst our youth through interactive workshops that include personal storytelling, information on the commonality of mental illness, and small group discussions on mental health themes.

  • Virtual bi-weekly meetings that create safe spaces for students from different schools to have conversations around mental health topics, facilitate their own mental growth and support one another’s mental health journey.

  • Our team workshops are designed to communicate the core values of the JCK Foundation through the lens of team sports; giving athletes the forum to express themselves in a safe and empowering environment, tailoring the JCK Legends curriculum to the unique challenges and stressors faced by athletes, exploring the core tenants of team dynamics, leadership, toughness & resilience, unifying team & individual goals, among other topics which we work with each team to create.

John had an unbelievable instinct for kindness — he was the one who would listen to you until you felt safe, the one always looking out for the underdog, the one empowering the socially isolated. John Kelly spent his life searching for ways to help others alongside a decade-long effort to alleviate his own OCD and depression. Even with his warm smile and willing ear, John lost his battle to OCD just days before his 25th birthday. The sense of connection and community he spread kept him on this earth longer than we deserved.
